Dra-God is a god game with an emphasis on having a more personal connection between the player, the followers, and the world.

Made a student project, I was the sole developer for the entire project, designing the entire game, creating art assets, and programming it all in Unreal Engine 4.

This project was not only a great exploration into researching genres I don’t usually develop, as well as good excuse further practice my C++ in UE4.

Roles

Solo Developer

  • Created design documentation.

  • Designed and implemented player controls with a focus on controller support.

  • Created follower AI that could be controlled by the player on the fly.

  • Created a dynamic zoning system, that allowed for free-form player controlled designation of space that leveraged procedural meshes and gift wrapping to find convex hulls.

  • Programmed with UE4 blueprints and C++.
